Jigsknits.com is operated by Katarzyna Dominika Plachta Jigsknits, based in Italy/Venice.

In the case of any discrepancy between the English language version of these terms and conditions or other parts of the site and those in any other language, the English version shall prevail.

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our terms and conditions. You are responsible for familiarizing yourself with the content of these terms and conditions, including the information provided in links, before placing an order.

Liability

You, the customer, are solely responsible for orders placed with your account. This also applies in cases where you have negligently facilitated a third party’s access to your account. Please take care to preserve your account security.

Orders

Orders are regarded as binding when they are completed in the webshop. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have prior to placing your order! Simply send a message to contact@jigsknits.com

Products ready to ship are already finished and will be shipped within 48 hours.

If you decided to order customised product from Products on order section you will need to check the durrent waiting time on the panel above the product. By placing your order you accept the waiting time.

 

If you are interested in a personalised project you will need to contact me via mail (contact@jigsknits.com) and wait for your order. We knit it for you! You will be informed about the expected waiting time in an e-mail before payment.

The order will be shipped when all the products ordered will be finished. If you order Products ready to ship and Products on order they will be shipped together when all the products are done.

​

Returns

You can return orders from Products ready to ship section.  The client covers shipping costs of the return and (if from outside EU) possible customs costs. The cost of the product itself will be refunded. If your order had a free shipping option the actual shipping cost covered by Jigsknits will be deducted from the refund price. You can return the product from the section Products ready to ship within 14 days after receiving it.

Products from Products on order section can be refunded ONLY in case of big differences in the size caused by the knitter (mistakes in measurements) or serious demage. If the lenghts are the same as numbers provided the order can't be refunded (final product can differ a few cm from the measurements provided). Note that we knit each sweater separately, especially for you. We don't have more sizes on the stock.

Exchanges

Choose the products carefully and check the measurements. We don't have more products on stock and we handknit every product separetely. There is no possibility of changing size after the product is finished.​

Prices

In the unlikely case of a pricing error, Jigsknits reserves the right to unilaterally cancel any affected orders.

The prices are set in €, your bank, card provider or PayPal offer the exchange rates to other currencies. Jigsknits takes no responsability of the current exchange rates.

There is 2€ tax (bollo) included in each order. This tax can't be refunded in case of a return.

Customs

Deliveries to your country may be subject to local tariffs, taxes, customs charges and handling fees depending on the carrier chosen. Jigsknits will in no event be liable for charges arising from import duties, levies or other charges arising from import. For information on the laws and regulations concerning imports to your country, please contact your national customs service.

Payment

Jigsknits uses secure servers and SSL security solutions. This means that all transferred data will be highly encrypted and safe. Through our secure server we offer the following payment options:

• Wix Payments: with most popular credit cards, like VISA, MasterCard, etc.

• Bank wire payments 

The payment for Products on order can be made only through bank transfer.

 

Sizing

Please keep in mind that wool is an elastic material, and small discrepancies may occur. Products made on order can differ a few cm from the 3 measurements provided by the client (the chest circumference, the length between the deepest part of your armpit to the wrist, the length between the deepest part of the armpit to the hips). Note that other measurements (for example sleeves' width, shoulders circumference etc.) are the result of proportions and can't be modified in this type of knitting method. Jigsknits doesn't offer changes in finished products (sewing). All the products are handmade so two different products in one size may differ slightly.

Quality

All Jigsknits products are handmade with Icelandic wool Istex. We guarantee that all products are made of 100 % pure new wool Lettlopi or Alafosslopi.

Delivery

Your orders will be shipped from Italy with UPS or Poste Italiane. The estimated shipping time in EU is 3-7 days. Jigsknits takes no responsability on delays caused by the shipping companies. Note that product will be shipped once it’s finished.

Privacy statement

Your personal information will be treated confidentially, and never shared with or sold to third parties without your consent. By using a third party payment provider to complete your payment, you accept that said party (Wix Payments) is granted access to the information you provide when completing your purchase.
