WHY ICELANDIC SWEATERS ARE SO EXPENSIVE?
All the products are made of 100% Icelandic wool without any additional ingredients. The wool is made in Iceland and the shipping costs together with Icelandic taxes rise the price. Icelandic wool might be even 4 times more expensive than the cotton versions. Moreover all the products are handmade and it takes many hours to make one sweater.
WHAT KIND OF WOOL IS THAT? IS IT ITCHY?
Icelandc wool Ístex is made of Icelandic sheep wool. The wool is partly waterproof (the firsts drops stay on the surface of the fabric), doesn’t absorb smells. The fibers isn’t smooth but devided into smaller hairs which made then more fluffy. The natural characteristics of this wool effects with the sensation which for many people is itchy. The sweater take a special bath in a liquid to wash wool before being shipped which make them more sensible. We advice to wear T-shirts under lopapeysas.
HOW SHOULD I TAKE CARE OF MY LOPAPEYSA?
Lopapeysas shouldn’t be washed too often. Sweaters don’t absorb smells so we should wash them only when they get very dirty. Wash them with your hands in lukewarm water with a liquid to wash wool or delicate soap. Don’t twist your sweater in different directions but take water out by pushing the sweater for example by the corners of a bathtub. Dry it on a flat surface changind the sides every few hours. Keep the sweater on a shelf, not on a hanger.

HOW LONG WILL I WAIT FOR MY ORDER?
The products in the Jigsknits shop are devided in two sections:
Products ready to ship
Products on order
Products ready to ship are already finished and will be shipped within 48 hours.
If you decided to order customised product from Products on order section you will need to wait up to 3 months for your order. We knit it for you!
CAN I RETURN MY ORDER?
You can return orders from Ready to ship section. The client covers shipping costs of the return and (if from outside EU) possible customs costs. The cost of the product itself will be refunded.
Products from Products on order section can be refunded ONLY in case of big differences in the size caused by the knitter (mistakes in measurments) or serious demage. If the lenghts are the same as numbers provided the order can't be refunded. Note that we knit each sweater separetly, especially for you. We don't have more sizes on the stock.
Only the products which haven't been used and in perfect conditions can be refunded.
I MISTOOK THE SIZE. CAN I EXCHANGE THE PROCUCT?
Choose the products carefully and check the measurments. We don't have more products on stock and we handknit every product separetely. There is no possibility of changing size after the product is finished.

HOW MUCH ARE THE SHIPPING COSTS?
For orders above 100€ shipping in EU is free.
The shipping costs of smaller orders to EU and all orders outside EU will be calculated at the end of your order process in the online shop.
Customs costs for packages ouside European Union need to be covered by client.
